King County's Dolloff lake covers 21 surface acres and reaches depths of about 19 feet. This stained water lake, with lots of lily pads and overhanging brush, contains lots of fish and several different fish species. The fish species include some jumbo largemouth bass, some jumbo black crappie that smack bass anglers surface lures, yellow perch, rock bass, pumpkinseed sunfish, brown bullhead catfish and planted rainbow trout. Dolloff Lake is open to year around fishing.
Public access is provided by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The large access area has lots of parking space, pit toilets and a nice concrete block boat launching ramp. No internal combustion engines are allowed on this peaceful little lake so you won't be bothered by hot rodders and water skiers. Bob Johansen
