Roses Lake (131 acres): This formerly productive trout lake 7 miles northwest of the town of Chelan has a special winter season; check the regulations pamphlet for specific dates. The public access area has a boat launch. The lake has a maximum depth of 32 feet and it is at 3125 feet elevation. The WDFW public access has lots of parking space, pit toilets and a concrete plank boat launching ramp that will handle most freshwater fishing craft. The lake is now year around fishing and provides very good angling opportunities for planted rainbow trout, largemouth bass, sunfish and some very nice sized bluegill.
