Snohomish County’s Lake Ki is located about 7 ½ miles northwest of Marysville. It covers about 97 surface acres, reaches depths of about 70 feet and lies at an elevation of 414 feet. Fish species include planted rainbow trout, largemouth bass and yellow perch.
Prime bass habitat around this clear water lake includes lots of private docks, pad fields, old logs in the water and some overhanging brush and trees.
Public access to Lake Ki is from Lakewood Road on the north end of the lake. There is a solid but quite shallow boat launching area that is best suited for hand carried water- craft and roadside parking that is limited but usually adequate.
To get there from Marysville, travel north on I-5 to the Smokey Point exit (Exit #206). Turn left (west) back across the freeway and follow 172nd St. N.E. (Lakewood Road) for 3.7 miles to Lake Ki’s north shoreline and boat launching area.
