Skagit County’ Vogler Lake is located about 2 ½ miles north from Concrete. It is a small lake covering only 3.5 surface acres, reaches depths of about 10 feet and lies at an elevation of 1060. It is a very pretty little lake with natural surroundings. Public access is provided by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The lake is open to fishing from the last Saturday in April through October 31st. It is now “catch and release” and fly fishing only. Fish species are listed as eastern brook trout. I tried it for bass but was not successful. Bob Johansen
