Rattlesnake Lake
Haven't been on the site for a while...Have been noticing a fair amount of reports for Rattlesnake Lake. Thinking about making the drive there for a hike and cool down with some fly fishing afterwards. My only question is what kind of flies would anyone suggest for a floating line set up? Is it reas...

Re: Wenatchee River
In reading the regulations it's saying that retention for whitefish starts December 1st.....a maximum quantity of 15 whitefish may be retained. All other species are statewide regulations and rules. Are trout plentiful to catch at this time around in the year (non sea going residential trout)?

Was thinking about making a trip to Leavenworth for a New Year's holiday get away. Will be staying right on the Wenatchee River. Was wondering what species will be in the system.

Re: wallace anyone
The closest hole to fish by the hatchery is the cedar hole... If you walk to the back of the hatchery, find the intake and head down stream on the road, there is a trail towards the back of the property to the river .. This is the farthest upstream you can fish right now.... Below that is the may c...

Re: wallace anyone
So as I was reading...You basically just pull up to the hatchery park in the parking lot and go east from there till you find a bridge with a WDFW sign and walk across and keep going east until the public fishing sign?

Cutthroat slaughter on LK WA?....Never heard of it, what was that about? There used to be a nice Sea Run Cutt population on Lk WA, fish in the 10# range were common. That is until the guides decided it was a good place to make money. They took their 5 fish per customer per day, day after day and no...

Re: Wallace River
If you're not stuck on Salmon, the Wallace is a great place to fly fish for trout. Bagged many beautiful Cutts and Bows from Goldbar to the falls. The gorge below the falls is extremely spectacular and full of little holes for the fishes to hide in. I've contemplated about going to the falls to tos...

Please correct me if im wrong, but aslong as your in the river, property owners cant mess with you. Property owners do not own the river therefore you can walk up the river all you want. As far as property goes which I have no clue what the boundaries are, but isn't it a line in a certain section o...

It wouldnt be tough to set up a sting operation, just set a bait car, put a trackable GPS on the dash, and then wait. It'd be just like fishing.
