#-o Don't worry if you see a worm in the flounder meat...They will dissapear when you cook the meat....They won't hurt you. Most bottom fish have them.... Just be careful where you get the fish. The PCB's are in Fish from Tacoma Harbor and Everett along with Duwamish area in Seattle....Have fun! Steve

I have used crawdads and shrimp on lake Conconelly, Pine lake, and Cranberry Lk and done well...Shrimp worked ok at most Eastern Wa lakes that I have fished at over the years.....Well worth trying behind a Wedding ring.

RE:changing handle from one rod to another
The handles are glued on.....You will be better off just getting a new handle and putting it on the rod that needs one....or you might be able to cut off the good handle and the bad part of the one and graft them together.....But not such a great idea.....Find a rod maker and take the rods to them a...

You might try it with your regular rod 3wt to 5 wt 9 ft'er or a spey rod of about 5wt if you have it.....$200.00 for a new outfit might be a bit for something that is difficult to fish with in the small streams around here that are lined with brush. Good luck my friend and give it a try...St...

RE:My kokanee outing
I found that using a 10.5 ft ultra lite noodle rod works quite well for kokanee. I have used both a $125 Lamiglas and a $50 Browning without any noticeable difference. So you might stay with the cheaper rod.The long ultralight rod seems to take up the shock of the strike and I don't have much of a p...
