Re: Ice Reports 2015-2016
I fished Eloika on Sunday. Ice is at 5.5-6 inches. Basically it is 4-5 inches of very cloudy ice and one inch of solid clear ice after a small layer of water between. Not the safest yet, but we have it a go with no problem.

I am particularly interested in Porcupine Bay and For Spokane, but I live about 2 hours away and I am a little weary of the hill getting down to ...

Time for the next round of ice reports. This year will probably lack some of the ice we usually get, but hey one can hope we get some. As always, be safe and catch fish. Please post reports of ice thickness in your area and whether you wet a line or not.
Thanks everyone.

Re: A Plea for Help- Trailer Lights
On the truck side, yes. They had grounded the truck side to the frame of the vehicle instead of the hitch, and that caused the problem on that end. Only took 3 trips down to haul to figure that one out =/

Re: A Plea for Help- Trailer Lights
Guys, thanks so much for your help. Without it, I wouldn't have been walleye fishing today. It turns out that the trailer lights had bad grounds at the lights and on the truck end, but not the flat 4 on the boat end. Cleaned them up and installed new insulated grounds at the lights and at the hitch ...

Re: A Plea for Help- Trailer Lights
Thanks for all of your posts. I have taken it in to uhaul 2x since the original install and I still cant get them working. I will just bite the bullet and take them into a shop. I have looked around and it doesn't seem like there are many choices for shops that do installs. Do most boat shops?

Re: Ice Reports 2013-2014
Jay- I was in a similar situation at the I-82 ponds near Yakima last winter. Three men put down their gear and rushed me while I was alone. If it weren't for my friend trailing 20 yards down the path I would have been in trouble. Thanks for letting us know about that, and glad nothing came of it. fi...

Re: Ice Reports 2013-2014
Test drilled a few holes on Eloika. 5" near shore and 6.5-7.5 on the main body of water. Took home a few fish. Nice and cold all day and should have even more ice by the time the snow hits us.
