Re: Wynoochee River drift in summer
If I were you I would launch at the pipe. Where youre talking about is WAY to low right now I believe. The drift is doable from the pipe to Black Creek but its dicey. Watch yourself.

Being an OP river you wont get many responses. Bobber and jig. Walk or float the river. Hire a guide. I hear that Danny Stonedahl kid knows his stuff.

Weight Size To Float Size
This is one of the main things I have issues with is figuring out what inline weight to run with a certain float size. If anyone has advice, a chart or something they could PM me or share with me it would be much appreciated.

If you're looking for Quinault guides I would go with Wayne James. He guides on Cook Creek. Some monster fish in there.

Re: whatcom creek
Fish a bobber and jig away from the wall and tip it with either raw prawn or raw shrimp. Corkie and yarn works well to. The chum in Whatcom creek are aggressive and will eat just about anything you throw. As far as it being fishable with the rain, the answer is yes. No real tide to speak of. Go get ...

Re: Skykomish Reiter Ponds
Blown to me is extreme high water, mud brown water, rapids where a good hole usually is, trees in the river. As soon as it drops it gets good.

Reiter is fishable IMO up to 11k. Anything over that isn't worth it.

Check the emergency rules because all the rivers differ. Most are closed to Salmon but is still open for Steelhead.

Bobberdoggin
Never done it before, so I am just wondering on the setup and what to look for when a fish takes your presentation. I am using the new Hawken Bobberdoggin floats. So if any has used these or can tell me how to set up for BD I would appreciate it. Thanks
