Re: Kokanee fishing this year
I have not done much koke fishing at all this year. Did do Summit a few times no kokes at all. I did hear that American had a few this year but nothing like years past. A very dry year for kokes lets hope that next years fish are still in the lakes? Time will tell.

Re: Running multi pal down riggers on one side of the boat.
I tried the dipsy diver....same as you nothing but bad luck. This is why I invested in the extra DR. They are extending booms and I have them both all the way out. Now to be clear my DR cables are not getting tangled the fishing line from the pole is.......running a 360 flasher on both. When releasi...

Re: Running multi pal down riggers on one side of the boat.
Thanks Gman, we were running the side dr up with the line in the clip and that seem to catch more then releasing it at depth. I understand the current issues but not having those just the fishing pole lines crossing each other or catching the rear facing dr wire. We will be fishing lake WA soon for ...

Running multi pal down riggers on one side of the boat.
So I decided to install a 3rd downrigger off the back of the boat. He is my problem the gear is getting caught in the rear DR cable and once in a blue moon the other fishing gear. I am running 13lb pancake weight on the sides and 10lb pancake out the back. The booms are extended all the way out. I d...

Re: Leaking rivets
Plus one on Larry's advice. Pull the boat and fill with water look for leaks and go from there. That much water after one day? You have a major leak, check your plug and anything that has been bolted thru your hull. Should be an easy find with that much water coming in.

Re: Lake Chelan end of August
NWrookie, check the reports section and look at all the old reports that have hotspots. There are fish to be had in the lower basin in the spring and summer. I am sure just like our lakes here the fish are still around, troll around and find the fish via FF. There are macks in the basin as well in 1...

My son and I went down last night for a few hours, Hit up dash point nothing and no fish caught. Went over to Tacoma waterfront side and fished for an hour with no luck. Sounds like it is a morning bite!

Re: Riffe Lake License requirements - Do you need Columbia Endorsement?
Riffe lake does not require the CR endorsement. Now if you chose to fish below the dam then you need it. Most guys will try the river below the dam for silvers and do well sometimes. I have done it for years, but it does require the CR endorsement because it is Mayfield lake and Salmon return from t...

Re: Where are the Baker Lake Sockeye?
Maybe they all headed to lake WA....lol. Also remember the river is going to be netted on July 6 and 7th so that will not help opening day one bit. I have to ask why they kept so many of the first fish that showed up? Is it so they can give the eggs away to help start a run else where? I don't remem...

So does anyone live at this lake? Looking to see if the launch gate is open? This week's test are all clear so that is 2 weeks no findings and the lake should be open. Thanks.

Re: Lost and Found, Lost, Help!
Glad you found it safe and sound. Now you need to make a check list that you do every trip, including a walk around the boat from the passenger side of the truck and work your way around the boat and touch your straps and check your swim step then around the boat check motors plugs and then on to th...

WOW, lets hope he turns up. That is a weird story to read, he went to the bathroom and never came back just disappeared without a trace. But yes a reminder to all to watch out and be safe! His body was actually found about a month later. That was the fisherman from last year. This new person went t...

Re: Trailer ??
Follow Larry's advice on the oil changes and running the motor long enough to heat the block and get rid of any left over water and so on. Really glad your motor is ok and you should back on the water in no time!! Keep us up to date!!
