Re: Lake Washington: Pain in the Bass
Thank you Tom. I will take the kayak out next time and tie up to his mooring buoy and work the 40-50 foot hole off his dock.

Re: Lake Washington: Pain in the Bass
Just thought I would throw an update on this thread. I have been out twice in the last 2 weeks. Only fishing off my father in laws dock. I have yet to get into any fish. My most recent outing was yesterday. Although hot outside, the water temp was still around 48-50 degrees. Water was clear to about...

Re: Lake Washington: Pain in the Bass
Right on! Thanks Fisher and AMX! I saw the report, but wanted to check if that was going to be the same for a different part of the lake! There are some hardcore bass guys on here, so I wanted to double check with them. haha Appreciate the input. I am going to give it a try this Sunday and early nex...

Lake Washington: Pain in the Bass
Hello. I want to start fishing off my families dock again this year, and have not fished this early in the year. Can you bass professionals give me a little information on what to throw/pitch/crank/bobber etc etc. The location I would be fishing is North of Oh Oh Denny Park, on the east side of the ...

Westport-Ocean Shores Ferry
Sorry if this topic is in the wrong section. I wanted to reach out to the tight knit community of NWFR for this one. It would be great to get a poll from all of you on this subject, if you don't mind replying back with the answer, it would help me out a lot! 1.) Would you want a ferry back in servic...

Re: Halibut Charters
Hey Dustin, So fishing for Halibut off the coast is a great experience. If you set out from Neah Bay, Seiku or La Push; those are some of the top spots, IMPO. Fishing out of Westport or Illwaco, typically is great as well, however your boat ride will be quite a bit longer. The shelf drop off is a lo...

Re: Sky or Skook?
I ended up on the Sky and it was in fine shape. Usual amount of weekend warriors out. A few fish caught and few fish lost, and a lot of cold fishless fisherman fighting fiercely for food.

Sky or Skook?
Any reports on Steelhead lately..? Wondering if we would have better luck on the Sky this weekend or maybe the skook? I saw the latest report from the Skook the other day. It seems from my prospective that its a slower than usual right now...Hopefully we don't see any major level blowouts!
thanks!
thanks!

Wenatchee/Leavenworth
Hey Everyone, so around the end of this month or early next month I am going to Leavenworth for 3 days. We are going to do the winter/Christmas downtown scene, but we are staying with a group of friends and are planning on renting a house on/near a river. Does anyone have any recommendation for wher...

Re: Lake Washington Help
Thanks gman. That is great info. I appreciate it. Very cool to hear about the sunken craft. Ya I have been hearing about coho around the yarrow bay area. Maybe I'll run his boat over there and check depths and look for drops. Are you, or should I say, most people, using the same gear you would use i...

Re: Lake Washington Dock Fishing
Sorry for the late response. I have been traveling for work and busy with the kiddo. I did great with a few different techniques. I used a drop shot rig with a natural worm jig and hooked a small bass and 3 perch. I used a perch pattern rapala diver and had a small in-line 1/4 oz weight about a foot...

Lake Washington Help
Hey Everyone, I have never fished for Salmon in Lake Washington before. My father in law has a home on the lake near Oh Denny park. Is there a chance that salmon school up and cruise by shallower parts on their way to either find food or get to one of the river systems? It would be cool to be able t...

That sounds like a nice fun filled morning. I'll set up a few different rigs and test out the area I have to work with. I appreciate the info!

Re: Lake Washington Dock Fishing
Believe it or not, I do really well in Lake WA fishing a white crappie tube about 3 feet under a bobber. This is from a dock or shore. Cast it out and work it over the weeds slowly. The traditional bass rigs frustrate me too much on lake WA, due to the thick weeds near the docks/shorelines. Thank y...

Lake Washington Dock Fishing
Hey Everyone, I am going to be fishing off my father-in-laws dock this weekend while we are over there for Seafair weekend. He lives North of Denny Park on the same side. He has a nice sandy/rocky bottom that gradually slopes down from the bank until the end of the dock and then it plummets to 25-30...
