Re: LMB swarming their fry...
Hey man, I would highly recommend a drop shot with a small bait fish imitation/ lure nose hooked. You can catch tons of fish before and long after the spawn this way. There is a new local company making fantastic lures by the name of ''Fisher Brother's Bait Co''. The D.S. Minnow is what I'm specific...

Re: Favorite bass lures
Crankbaits are super fun to fish and you can get very creative w/ the retrieves. They are a superb search bait as KZOO said esp. for covering a lot of water just like a spinnerbait. Once the water warms up a bit more, I keep one tied on until November here. Try to match baitfish size, seasonal habbi...

Re: snowing again
After 4 years of living here this has been the craziest winter yet. Not sure what to make of the flux water temps, early budding trees, blooming flowers ect... also at least a month of intense winds. Is it just me or is the weather going nuts??

Re: Looking for someone to go fishing with?
I'm not gunna lie... I am really hoping to get a bass before spring is official. If you have an open seat, get a hold of me and I'll be there given I'm not working. Off Friday, Sat, Sunday's at the moment. Pitching in for gas ect. is not an issue. Tight lines.

Re: one piece rods???
I agree! 1 piece rods are the way to go. I keep 1 cheaper 2 piece rod for when fly somewhere for a few days and might get a little time to try new water.

Re: Winter Fishing in the Seattle Metropolis
I've searched every crevasse from Lake Union to the King Co. line up north from shore for the past 4 winters. It's tuff from land! With out a boat and good electronics... 1,000X harder. Catching browns at Green Lk is no easy task, they are pro's at getting off hooks but at least you might get a fish...
