Not sure. I've been in contact with WDFW and so far they are moving forward with the permitting process to get this started. I havent heard anything from the CLA though.deadyote wrote:I'm heading over in August. Will it effect fishing and swimming?

Re: Curlew Weed Kill *MUST READ*
The latest Department of Ecology study does not note any invasives, namely Eurasian Milfoil. My parents own a home on the lake, hence why they got a notice of this activity. I spend a good amount of time up there every year and have not been concerned with excessive weeds. There is a large shallow f...

Re: *New WA Record Fish - Pending
Theres quite a few fish in that lake that size. Gades fish is an absolute monster though... Congrats to the angler. I for one would release the fish, but it is his choice to keep it and he is well within the law. A very clean looking fish to boot.

Is there one for the Columbia that far north? All the ones I've found are from the Reach down.Amx wrote:Get a chart from a map store, there is one in Bellevue, it'll show you the contours/depths, shoals, navigation channel. Go from there.

Curlew and Perch
Just an FYI, I had heard rumblings two years ago that WDFW had shocked up a Yellow Perch in Curlew Lake. My family took our first trip to our cabin on Julian Bay this year and the bay is littered with perch now. We easily caught over 50 fish and saw a lot more. I do not know how this will affect the...

We did not get out in the boat on Saturday as we didnt get arrived and settled in till about 4:00 and had other things to do. Sunday we went out early and came back after it started pouring hard. I'm sitting in the cabin right now watching a monsoon roll through. That fish looks like it was caught p...

If it was caught in Lake Crescent in Clallam County it is a Beardslee or Blue Back form of the Rainbow Trout. They are endemic to that lake and only that lake.Stegalaw wrote:He caught it in lake Cresent

Teal101, Mark K and I will be up there for the weekend too. We will be in a Skeeter bass boat. We'll have to hook up! I'll be at Tiffanys with my parents and my girlfriend. We stay right on the point where the old dock used to be. If I see you out there I'll swing on by, we'll be in a camo 17' Lowe...

Re: 50 inch limit ?
I educate people every year at Curlew about the fish, not only the regulations but the fish itself. Lots of misinformation and ignorance out there. I will be up there starting the 23rd for some Musky action and will make sure to spread the word and report if needed. On a good note, the signs at Ever...

My girlfriends dad holds the state record for the Lahontan Cutts out of that lake. He got one record fish at 15lbs and went back the next year and got the current record 18lber. HUGE fish. Great pics, I need to get up there someday with "the master" and have him show me how its done. Scenery looks a...

Had any issues with the 65? I was planning on going with 65lb as I can get it from Tackle Warehouse, they dont carry 80lb super slick power pro. I'll mainly be using swimbaits, topwaters, bucks, and raiders.

65lb or 80lb braid for the Tigers?
Wondering if I should use 65lb braid or step up to 80lb for the Tigers. Will be using lures up to 8oz with a titanium leader. I dont want to be under gunned, but 65lb is pretty strong. What do you guys use?
