10 foot Columbian fishing boat
2016-07-19 20.48.06.jpg She isn't pretty and she isn't fast like the big boats but she is a steady workhorse. Used and abused, patched and repatched. It's a boat that floats and doesn't require a big investment. Can be loaded/unloaded in and out of truck bed by one man. Come get it for $200. Thanks...

Re: Kitsap Peninsula Bass Fishing........who's done it?
I reside in king county but I have fished a few lakes in mason county. Spencer lake is a good one to try. Some real toads in there. Good Luck!!!

Re: Trimming lily pad fields to your "Liking"
You could get some punching gear that would penetrate the pads....may be less of a hassle than doing aquatic gardening. LOL. But if you really wanna cut em up, I say do it! Im sure I know the exact pad fields you are trying to thin out, they do get thick later in the summer. I wouldnt mind fishing y...

Better send that pic out to some of the companies you want to get sponsored by! Be sure to tell them exactly how much it weighs too. Let me know how it works out.

Re: Good Read
Is it just me or is this a terribly written "book"? I got through the first couple pages and couldn't continue. LOL False info galore. It says steelhead can travel 900 miles in one day! They would have to swim at 37.5 miles per hour for 24 hrs straight to achieve that distance...HAHA.

Re: Thanksgiving on the Clark Fork!
It is very beautiful country Mike! Much different than our rivers here in Washington. The stretch of river we were fishing was a challenge to read for me. The river was WIDE,SHALLOW,FLAT,and straight as an arrow. Not to mention, gin clear water with blue bird skies made for skittish fish. You had to...

The meat was indeed on par with a good silver. Grandpa said it was delicious. Maybe next time I will have one as well, i will just have to set aside my snooty washington preference for fresh salmon.Augwen wrote:Montana Coho

Re: Thanksgiving on the Clark Fork!
Nice looking fish. Montana trout are pretty tasty too!! I bet they are tasty! One of my cousins did end up keeping one fish that wasnt going to make it. It was a rainbow, about 20", inhaled the vibrax so deep we could hardly see it. My grandfather ended up having that one for breakfast the next mor...
