The fall is a fun time to get into some aggressive fish. I try to enjoy it while it lasts.

Fall bassin' when you can cast your top water minnow to the middle of the lake instead of toward the lily pads and still catch fish. And an occasional big trout on top water too:) Got one today 13" trout and had another big hit from 2nd trout.

Just got on here for the first time in a while, I haven't been out much in the last few months. I was thinking of trying to sneak out and was wondering about tis very thing...how is the bass fishing in the fall? I just took up fishing this year so I have never been bass fishing in the fall. What is different about it? It sounds like there is good fishing this time of year. Is it too late? Did I miss it?

Ive been catching a lot of my fish on offshore grass or ends of deep docks, almost the same spots as summer. You can find some shallow. Baitfish presentations and smaller offernings seem to be working. Dont let the bad weather scare you, the fishing can be great!
