I'm hoping to hit up some lakes over President's Week. I tried a local lake a few weeks ago. Frozen solid!

Been too darn cold for me. I did go twice a week ago, but caught only crappie and perch. There is always summertime. lol

April 3, 2017, caught this 5 lb. Smallmouth from Lake Meridian. Water temp was 49F. One bite, one fish. She liked a 5" GP Zoom lizard well enough. Line just got heavy so I yanked! I was ordered to post the picture here.

No sir both giants were caught on a jig. The bigger one hit on a dead stick and the other hit while i was swimming it back to the boat.
