New to lake Tapps need a fishing buddy.

Post by flatbottom777 » Sat Jun 10, 2017 1:38 pm

Hey guys. Just moved down to Bonney lake and am an avid bass fisherman. I have never fished Lk Tapps so if there is any guys that know the lake well and need a fishing buddy let me know. I'll take care of the boat and all the hard stuff if you show me around the lake. I have a 17 ft nitro.

When are you available? I'm retired, and I'm not too interested in fishing weekends. Too much of a zoo.

Tapps is an interesting lake. Can't say I'm an expert on it, but know some spots here and there, and ways to catch 'em. I honestly don't think it's a wonderful fishery right now, due to the long draw down a few years ago (to fix the dam). But give it a few years and it should come back ok.

Plus, the City of Bonney Lake charges way too much to use their boat launch and parking lot. Maybe if you're a resident it would be cheaper? I'd have to look at the map for alternates right now. Perhaps I could help on that? I've been on a good percentage of the local lakes, a fair number that aren't local, and quite a few in other states.

Meanwhile, stay away from shore on the big motor, or anyplace that looks like it might be shallow, because it probably is. There are lots of big stumps. :fish: Steve
