skunked today =(

went over to the puke by freddies, and nada, not one fish caught, hooked into a decent silver for a few seconds but i guess it wasnt meant to be, got there at 7 ish, saw only one fish caught by some old lady on a bass lookin rod lol

get used to it til you get really good...i have several friends who quit salmon fishing because they got skunked alot...but with anything, you'll only get better and better

if it happens like that again where no one is catching anything, just move to a new hole

Don't feel bad. We only touched one fish today as well. They were hiding out somewhere, but not where we were, and we were traveling. It was a tough day.

so what do bites typically feel like? so far in my experiences its really just a pause, the lead stops ticking across and the rig just stops, is this the typical "bite" (corkie yarn rig)

goo when in dought set da hook..a super censitiv rod helps detect..but sometimes you dont feel them at all and they spit hook b4 you knowit..i guess dats why we love fishin like majic [thumbsup] =P~

i got a loomis gl2, i thinks its pretty sensitive, i feel every bottom tick and the occasional structure my leader brushes past,

I hit the stilly after the Seahawks games for a bit. Didn't see one jump and didn't hook squat..... We need this rain coming....

fished all day yesterday and hooked one king that i could not keep anyways.. ALL DAY! 5am to 4:30... ](*,)

Either the pause or as your ticking bottom , it will feel like a couple of rapid ticks.....
