This is agravating me. Danny catches too many fish and there just arent enough going around. Im thinking of changing my work hours from 4 pm too 12 am. This way I can fish the plush waters with the Freak.Im turning in names to the state of people that catch too many fish which is everybody other then me.I think people like Danny,Shu,Goodtime,ODH, Kochmandoo and others should have to follow the native gillnet schedule.. Great pics everyone. Love seeing pics of steel. The steelhead has always been my favorite looking fish with its coloring. Keep the pics comming.

3 of us fished the Snoqualmie below the Tolt on Saturday. It rained ,rained rained. The river was pretty silted. Looked like runoff from the passes.I did get one nice hit that stripped my bait. That was it. It hit more like a trout then a steelie. we were soaked but had a good time chatting and laughing with friends. Its weird but I havent seen a fish checker or warden all season.

Not a large fish, but bright and it fulfills my goal of at least four Steel this season. With time running out on my river, I really was starting to think that I was going to have to say "Maybe next year", but managed to pull this one out this morning. Water was very cloudy and saw only one other hooked while fishing, but despite the odds, I got lucky. So, here is number four. Surprisingly bright and fought well for her size. 25" length x 12.75" girth.

Thanks! Anything to help the next guy out. I can't take credit for the jig. I saw a guy hook one on a similar jig in December when the water was up and off colored, so borrowed the idea from his book.
