To mark the un-officall start of winter steelhead season of course! (video provided by KOMO news)
Nothing says it's winter steelhead time quite like seeing the skoke flooded out and chum zipping across roads, parking lots and fields.

No URLs!
and as I recall, Aerosmith said it best in song: "if you don't know how to do it, I'll show you how to walk the dog"

Ya know, I live 30 minutes from there. One of these days I'll get out there to see it for myself.

Jeez, it seems like every news station is so fascinated with this story all of a sudden. It was on the front page of AOL and Yahoo, and I heard fox news had a short story on it. Some tackle companies have posted this video on their facebooks too. Why is everyone taking interest in this now? It happenes every year!!

I suppose it is because technology now allows us to share videos quite easily. To people that haven't seen it before, it is pretty neat and unexpected to see a salmon crossing a flooded road. Now you will be able to travel to remote parts of the world and say, "where I live the salmon swim in the roads" and folks will know to what you are referring. By the way, I always thought that Shelton should host a "Shelton Salmon Days" event. We all know they could use a little boost to their economy.
