Going to take the small boat to my sons place this week and he lives in Kenmore area of Lake Washington.
Going to take him and the grand babies out and let them catch fish. This is the girls first fishing trip so really want to find some stuff for them to catch. But I do not know this are at all!
ANY pointers for pan fish, cats..trout that will keep them excited and get them hooked on fishing will be much appriceated!

Launch go out the slough from the launch there will be a mayor rusted Beef master Barge:-$ just about 1 mile out just outside Kenmore air.
Fish for perch on the wind protected side:-$ about 20 yards off the Barge bring a bucket of fresh worms!:-$

PS bring a cooler with ice not for your food and drinks FISH!

Swede's spot on w/ the location (I used to live in the area)...also be AWARE you will be crossing an active aircraft (water) runway from approx the mouth of the slough getting to the barge. I've never had an issue because of this...but have had to idle down as aircraft traffic taxied about...then I shot across! :geek:
