what are small little fake fish for. (really need info or il throw them out)

what are small little fake fish good for?? id post a pic of the ones i have but i dont know how[angry] i have these small ones i got them at cabellas i was wonderin what there good for theyu arnt those cheap ones that dont swim right and dont look right. my friend got something on it. but i never have so i was wonjderin what they are good for any tips??? please i have had these for a year

They are probably just little spoon looking things, curved like a spoon and work the same. Or are they rubber ones? They catch fish, that's what they are for.

Use them wherever the fish will be. Some have hooks molded in and others you have to impale them on a hook, either thru the nose, or across the back. Jig them or swim them.

rig them like in the picture and swim them along in a slow swim, fast swim, jerk-stop-jerk-stop, and a stop-n-go technique.

Or fish them on a jighead and jig/swim them.

Or hook them thru the nose on a dropshot, Carolina rig, or Splitshot rig.

That is what they are designed for = Bass.

well i didnt know im not reallly a bass person. i have only ever caught 2 bass in my entire life theywere smallmouth bass i was fishing for trout. and they were not very big. but they were keepers

Depends on the regulations for the lake you were fishing.

As far as most of us fishermen are concerned, trout get stocked so it's great to keep and eat them. Bass have to reproduce on their own so we don't keep them so they can spawn, so we have fish to catch. There is a max size limit, & number limit of Smallmouth Bass, and another max size limit on Largemouth. If all Bass were kept, they would be few and far between. They are legal to keep, but you have to read the state wide regulations, and the 'special regulations' for each lake you fish.

well haha this lake dont get stocked welll legally nobody is suposed to be there. but i didnt know that at the time. ya this lake never got stocked except when the firstr owner had it. he stocked it with bass... there are alotttttt of fish here only a few people fish here. theres alot!! of sunfish here

Then you'd have to find out if the fish are stunted, or healthy. And go from there.

You have to compare the size of the head to the size of the body.

So are they swimbaits? Like 5-6" rubber fish or little ones like the Gulp minnows that are 1 1/2"-3"? I've caught largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, bullhead, walleye, and bluegill on the gulp minnows. Never fished with swimbaits but like stated earlier it's for bass, musky, pike if they're the large swimbaits.
