I think it's important enough to start another conversation...
For a particular generation, this is as tragic as losing Elvis or Lennon. Michael Jackson was the typical mega music artist tragedy. In his early years, he influenced and helped MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of people, and fought for many great humanitarian causes. But, like many before him, the fame and money and who knows what else got him in the end. Let's remember him for the great things he did. His life took a turn for the worse, and NOBODY want's to see any person go through that. He was a very giving person in his younger years. Did he make mistakes...YES. Does everyone make mistakes...YES. He needed help in his later years, but never found the strength or people to help him. An icon has passed and a generation weeps.
Michael Jackson was great, Jacko was wacko....
