Way Off Topic But Wondering
If a fellow was interested in getting a Winchester Model '94 30-30 with no checkering, what do you all think he'd have to pay for it. I'm not looking to buy, or trade. I'm just curious.
Where you go is less important than how you get there.

If you hear of anyone wanting one, I do, for $300. It was made in '64. With sling.

It depends on the age and condition of the gun. A quick search on gunbroker shows them from $400.00 and up
Guns made before 1964 bring a little more money

I guess If I have to ask what it means, "No checkering..."?? Then I shouldn't respond,, but I am curious what you mean.Lotech Joe wrote:If a fellow was interested in getting a Winchester Model '94 30-30 with no checkering, what do you all think he'd have to pay for it. Does that mean with no kind of background check or something,, I would think not..?

checkering = diamond patterns on the side of the forestock, and stock, etc. For 'non-slip', better holding. The Quadfather wrote:I guess If I have to ask what it means, "No checkering..."??
