I'll be on the lake tomorrow and I'll be in the small aluminum boat until I grab my Ranger from CA.. I was wondering if anybody knows of any rock piles/drop off's around the lake. I know the Brown action will be great,

But I'm a true bass fisherman:-" haha so I'll go out and try all day just to try if I have to. I know what set ups and cover to fish, just need the location

I think you better take your ice auger, rather then your boat. LOL
But if you can get down to the SW corner of the lake there is some good rock bluffs that drop into 15 to 20 ft of water right at the shore. It's a great spot for Browns there and you mat pick up a bass there.

Lake is 95% ice free, with only a bit of ice on the sand bank in the south east corner of the lake.

I stopped by on Friday and it was still really iced over. There were a couple kids in like a small paddle boat out there and some anglers from shore. I don't think you could launch a regular boat yet. Maybe this weekend weather helped.

Thanks EB, I'm still boatless for now, Just waiting for the Nothern CA weather to clear so I can head down to my Dads house and get my boat. The river is not cutting it for me.
