I'm semi-planning to go to the WBC meeting this Wednesday (Oct.19***), if Mr. Nine Fingerfury goes. Well, it's really for the pizza and a beer.
I have "The Complete Guide to Finesse Bass Fishing" by Michael Jones. Recommended by me. Chapters by Gary Klein, Don Iovino, Guido Hibdon, Shaw Grigsby, George Kramer, Joe Thomas, Larry Hopper, Greg Hines, Don Siefert, Ken Cook and Rick Clunn. You may have heard of some of them? Published by McGrady Media, 31566 Railroad Canyon Road, Suite 707, Canyon Lake, CA 92587
You might consider asking at your local library for specific titles. They tend to have some of the In-Fisherman books. I had the Roland Martin book "101 Bass Patterns", and may still have it around somewhere. Also one or two of the WBC books. In those days, the DF&W really were pretty clueless about what waters had bass, and probably their biologists had only seen pictures of bass in old text books back then. Anyway, it required some research to find lakes with bass back then. Some did that DF&W didn't know about, some the book said did...really didn't. They poisoned off a lot of lakes in those days, but the poison got to be too expensive. Yayyyyyy!
