Hi All,
I'm a newbie here and really enjoy reading the reports and all,
My question is, is there tiger trout in West Medical Lake?
On this site: http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/water_access/s ... arch=30561
says there is, but the lake info here there is no mention, plus there is no mention in the booklet that you can get
where you get your license, can any one confirm one way or the other?
Thanks,
John

RE:Question about West Medical Lake
I have never caught a Tiger there and the stocking reports for the lake don't show any stocked in 08 or 09.
I know Medical has Tigers and Fish Lake (near Cheney) has the State Record (caught last year). They have been planting Williams Lake, Black Lake and Clear lake locally. Tigers are also in Sacheen, Leo, Gillette, Heritage and 4th of July on this side of the State. Lenice and Nunnally both have nice populations as well in the central part of the state.
Tight Lines!

RE:Question about West Medical Lake
I haven't seen tigers listed on any recent W. Medical stocking reports, but a partner of mine got several two or three years ago and I got a couple. Despite being a very seasoned fishermen, he did not know what they were....he'd never seen them before!!! It all made sense later when he got some tigers in nearby Medical Lake. Stocking reports aren't always accurate, but I think they were planted once. So I'm sure there's some big ones in there. I'll have to go to the WDFWs site and looks at the e. Washington stocking archives. There's also some BIG browns in W. Medical that most folks don't know about...they used to plant a couple thousand every year.
