Went to Armstrong with my lab so he could take a dip providing there was nobody fishing from the launch. Sad sight to see all the pop cans and food wrappers all over the boat launch. At first you think no way that is the fisherman and then you see fishing line everywhere, empty fish hook packages, just trashy. I know a lot of people used to walk around the lake and fish from many different areas, but I see the land owner must have had enough of the trash ending up on his property so he posted KEEP OUT everywhere. I really can't blame him. Anyway, saw a couple of bass fisherman who said they did pretty good. For those without a boat, the only place you can fish Armstrong now is from right there at the boat launch. To be honest, I have had better luck from shore at that launch than I have ever had with my boat, at least for trout. Bass, there on the other side of the lake. Good fishin everyone.
