If you're looking for "hand-size" crappie, Cassidy has a million of them. With the current regulations, anything under 10" must all be released, but they're still a lot of fun on the right tackle. I hit the lake again last evening, the bite really starts right at dusk (8:00) and get's better as it gets dark. I use my float tube, and dry flies, for nearly non-stop action. They seem to be anywhere from the edge of the lily pads out 100' or so. Pinch down your barbs, watch for rising fish, and have fun. And watch out for the bats. They're out in force after dark, and there are hundreds flying over the lake eating bugs.
