Bumping the edge of a "4", maybe the best this lake can do is a lot of small guys and an occasional biggun. The big one was 15", caught at the most bass-looking spot on the lake - and I'm not telling where that is :-)

Caught lots of 8-11" LMB and discovered a couple things. There was a resort on the lake. The remains are on the east side of the lake. There's also another launch, even better than the south end. This one has a fishing pier and a better concrete ramp, plus more parking. Funny because this lake really only needs one launch are but hey, I'm not complaining. I got to try out my new "lure-freeing" weight when my killer plug got stuck on a log - and it worked! Don't leave home without one. This rainbow colored diving plug is outfishing everythign else I throw out there on the lake, although WCCT western sticks were effective as well.

Report Part Two: Went back in the evening with my son James and fished a too brief one hour. We caught several more of the small legal LMB and a few perch as well. James had a good time, outfishing dad, and James having a good time made dad have a good time as well.
