I got off work early so I decided to go troll a little on the lake. I got in the water about 1:10pm and had my first fish on at about 1:15pm... I was in my little raft and I was rowing and fishing and I still landed my limit in about 70 minutes of fishing, not to mention the 7-8 bites I missed because I had to drop the paddles. Overall I caught 3 browns, 2 rainbows, and 2 perch. Fish ranged from 13 inches to 9 inches. It was all fun though and certainly beat working. I fished directly across from the main boat ramp about 20 yards off the far shore. I trolled in an "S" pattern perpendicular to shore at a medium pace. I was trolling willow leaf fenders with a wedding-ring tipped with worm. I had 4 large split shots right in front of the fenders and fished at 30 pulls. Fishing at this lake will start to drop off pretty soon so get out there while you can.
