Caught my second bass out of this lake the other day hopping a little green crawfish around the semi-submerged logs to the right of the public fishing pier and I believe she could've easily eaten my first bass. She measured over 22 inches long and weighed well over 8 pounds on the rusty old scale I borrowed from a nearby trout fisherman. I fought here for a good 4 or 5 minutes on my 6lb spinning tackle before finally getting her within reach. Probably the biggest bass I've caught in my life. Didn't catch anything else that morning, but it was still a worthwhile couple hours at the lake.
