First Time fishing Chopaka. My Buddy and I made it there after some uneventfull Grouse hunting about 11:30 and were on the water at 12. Had one take on a Brown Wolleybugger but never saw the fish ( Yeah it won) but it was a biggun'.
Nothing else until moments before getting off the water and did catch a 14 inch rainbow that had a serious pot belly on him! nice fight. That was all. Nothing else. My bud didn't feel any tugs at his line and suggested the change in the weather might have taken the fish off the bite. It snowed on us a little earlier after two nice sun filled days. Didn't see any bass or any other poeple. Make a note that the road to the lake is closed due to a new culvert going in. had to get in the LOOONGG way. Can't wait to go again.
