During the first week of October we enjoyed several blissful days at Conconully Lake Resort.
Our well-stocked cabin was very comfortable, and our hosts, Dave and Donna were most helpful in apprising us of in-town amenities.
Driving through the nearby town of Conconully was always delightful, seemed like a Mule-Deer Convention was always going on!
The Resort's fishing dock is ideal. Although we actually spent little time fishing, we caught some hard-fighting and delicious Rainbows.
Mel, a kindly local gentleman who shared the dock with us one morning assured us there were "Big Boys" in the lake. A couple of weeks before he had one he estimated at 8 pounds break the leader, just as he was ready to net it.
We had a Wonderful time and We Shall Return!
