It was cold for me, but great for healthy bows. For the first two hours (9:30 am - 11:30 am), my friend Eldon and I used sinking tip lines for fishing shallow spots, but caught nothing. We switched to full sinking lines and 12-4X Woolly Buggers for fishing deep. I caught one Triploid and 7 bows in the next few hours (11:30 am - 1:30 pm). My friend caught at least 5 nice bows and one sunfish.

Perfect weather for flyfishing, gorgeous-looking desert lake, plenty of large bows, but only four flyfishermen. What do all those hard-core flyfishermen do these days?

If you had seen all the "hard-core" flyfishermen, they would have blown their cover!
We are part Bigfoot part Golom, and prefer to keep a tight lip.
how ever I think you made a wonderfull lake selection, and also should add there are several state record Tigertrout
lurking in those waters.

cheers,
