The harvest is over and Fatboy Rog and his Brother are fishin again. Our first excursion of November was saturday Nov.4th. We decided to give some attention to a rumor, theres a trout bite on and its on Frenchmans west of Potholes. We drove west on highway 260 (Old dam road) just past the State park.. turned right and ended up by the two tunnels that flow under an old farm road. Myself with my drift setup.. Gamakatsu #4 18" leader and slip sinker setup. I baited up with 1 and 1/2... My Bro used same setup only he baited up with Captain America Power nuggets.. We fished for about 45 minutes before we hooked our first fish. This Rainbow looked like a small! Real bright silver no way in Spawn mode. it weighed about 2 Lbs.. soon there after My brother switched to drifting a on a water Bobber setup. and bamm he hooked a high flyer. This Bow was the best of the day.. 3 1/2 lbs and big belly little minnows in its guts. That Gave me an idea to use a Mepps Spinner..The Angila series, Hooked and lost 3 before landed a smaller 13 incher. I feel if i had a Wordens Rooster Tail in my Tackle Box.. That woulda been the ticket.. But anyways we left with 5 nice bows and alotta anticipation of our return trip next week, so thats my report for yall Hope ya enjoyed it and remember to take a kid fishing.

Signed..A True fan of Washington Lakes.com and The great Outdoors...Fatboy Rog
