11/9/06 On lake Stevens,

Got there around 1 pm and it stopped raining for about 3 hours, and the sun actually came out for a hour. Can you believe that. Took a left turn out of county boat launch and trolled towards north end, then looped around the aerator. One small trout, several bites. Had one bite at point, where I caught my 14" kokanee last time, I think they hang out on that north end of that point by aerator. Saw a boat head towards the south end when I got there, so I headed over there to see if it was any better. Two boats were trolling south east side in between south end and point. So I trolled there picking up another small trout. I had more bites at the end of the evening at the south east end by the white building next to the road going over the water. If you go, troll from building to airplane, back & forth. Lots of action. Didn't catch any big ones but marked some there on the fish finder. Give it a try if you go for trout. Helped a guy at the boat launch with a flat tire on his trailer. He didn't have a lug wrench that fit the trailer lug nut. Don't expect your vehicle to have the same size lug nut as your trailer.
