Launched from the new city park on the SW corner of Lacamas Lake. This is a very nice launch site with grooved pavement and a parallel dock to tie up to. Very clean rest rooms. Basically, our intent was to familiarize ourselves with the new fish finder. As the water level was low we were able to travel under the bridge to Round Lake. Noted quite a few fish out from the Moose Lodge dock and in the south eastern portion of Round Lake. (Looks like the fish ducks know what they are doing!) Water temp just under the surface was about 40.5 F. Fish are mostly hanging (10-20") with some right on the bottom. No strikes even with jigging in some dense schools. (1130am - 1pm) Will return when warmer weather and warm rains change the situation.
