Skunked. I did well last weekend so I came back for more, only in the afternoon (2-ish) vs. morning. Two guys leaving as I pulled up were soaked and fish-less, but I was optimistic.

Had one strong bump but no other action. Tried corn, salmon eggs, mealworm, combinations of those as well as jigging all of the above on a Swedish Pimple. Nuthin'.

I talked to a few guys as they were leaving, they had been out on the far end and in the middle of the lake and they were all fish-less too.

Ice is holding at about 6-8", but breaking away from shore so getting onto the ice is the challenge now.

On a sad note, ice fishing has given me some idea of what the botttom of our lakes must look like. Beer cans, cigarette butts, fish egg lids, candy wrappers all sitting on top waiting to fall in when the ice melts. I hauled a bunch of gargage in on my sled on my way in. I'm disgusted at my fellow fisherman. :-(
