Editor's Note: Please note the following regs: Sport Fishing Rules 2006/07 pamphlet edition" (top of page 29). The State wide (all freshwater unless specifically noted in the special rules section, pages 33-67 in Western Washington ) regulation for bass is as follows;
"No min. size. Only bass less than 12" or greater than 17" may be retained. Daily limit is 5, of which only 1 over 17" may be retained. Bass may be caught, retained, and released alive from a live well until a daily limit is in possession."
This means that it is legal to have fish in your live well but you many not have more than 1 daily limit alive in possession (fish in live well are in possession).
