After no success on Medical Lake for an hour or so, we packed up and made the two minute trip to West Medical Lake. It was crazy there. So many people it was outrageous. We started with some bobber fishing, but the wind was so crazy consistently we (My 4 yr. old and I ) decided to fish from the bottom. She had white power bait eggs and I had yellow. We only spent about an hour on the lake because it was so windy that we were not really enjoying the fishing. No bites in our time on the lake, however the person on our left landed a nice trout 18+, but the person on our right said he had been there 7 hours and nothing. We will go back on a less windy day and when the commotion has slowed down from opening weekend. Also this lake is 2 minutes from my work, so I will be there often.
