We are new to the area so we went to check out Clear Lake after leaving West Medical to see what kind of fishing public access there was. Clear Lake is almost a boater only public access with very little room for the shoreline fisherman. It is sad to see the awesome federal govt. resort right next door with the nice docks and all and the state side with nothing more than a boat ramp. I also observed a boater getting a ticket wrote to him on our drive down to the lake. We did not even get out here as the limited access for shoreline especially with kids.

If anyone knows of a great place to fish with kids in or around the Spokane County area please let me know.

After we left Clear Lake public access, we stopped by the private resort. I wanted to check out for next time the costs.

Dock access: $3.50

Boat Launch: $5.00

Oar Bat Rental: $15 for 6 hours

Motor Boat Rental: $35 for 6 hours
