Between 6:45 and 8:30 a.m. the two of us limited out trolling using either wedding ring lures w/worm or black w/silver glitter flat fish lures. Most bites and all catches were made with the latter. The first catch was the best - a 20"/3 lb German Brown with the pinkest meat I've seen on a Brown. Also an 18"/1.5 lb Rainbow and the remainders were 12"-17" inch Rainbows. Water was warm - close to 50 degrees.

Didn't seem as busy for opening day as last year but of course still many many boats - I'm guessing around 80 by the time we left.

Came back on Sunday from 6:45 until 9:30 when the wind kicked up and we headed for home. Much quieter, only two 14" bows. Tried frog lures in addition to the above. Water was colder, weather about the same as Saturday.
