McMurray is probably my favorite lake to fish. No speed boats but you can bring an outboard. Now all they need to do is get rid of the Largemouth and replace them with Smallmouth. WDFW was giving some guy a ticket for not having his parks pass hanging from the review mirror so be careful. Anyway, started trolling with a wedding ring and before I got past the stumps had a rainbow on. Trolling a green wedding ring with half a crawler caught 3 rainbows and a kokanee in under an hour. All were between 12-13 inches. Decided to fish for that last one with a black wooley bugger (spelling?) that my anchor picked off the bottom fishing here a few days before. Trolled it just like I would a wedding ring and within 10 minutes caught and released 2 more, kept a third and Went to the docks to fish for crappies and perch. Caught a 10 inch perch and a 10 inch crappie. Was hoping to get into a mess of them but not tonight. Excellent weather and the boats are starting to thin out a bit.
