5/18/2007 3:45:00 PMgcbcaddis1, that is incorrect. You MAY release trout caught using bait, but that trout counts as part of your daily trout limit. Obviously, if the trout is smaller than the size limitation, you have to release it (on rivers). Please reference page 33 of your 2007 Sport Regs pamphlet:
"In lakes, ponds, and reservoirs: No min. size. Daily limit 5. When fi shing with bait, all TROUT (except STEELHEAD) equal to or greater than the minimum size are counted as part of the daily limit whether kept or released."
