Fished W. Medical for three hours, from 9:30 until12:30. Temps 50-60. No wind at all until about 11:30. Used a type VI sink line and chironomid patterns in 23-25 feet of water. I did not catch a fish in the first hour, but at about 10:30 the trout tried to get started. While slower than other days, I still managed twelve to net, most in the 11-14" range except for 1 bow at 20" and a brown at 21". Hung and lost a few others, one of which was an absolute brute. Most takes were within a couple feet of the bottom, with a few about halfway up. Most anglers, whether on the bank or in boats, were getting some fish during this time.
