after spending an unproductive morning fishing the south end of the lower lake, we drove up to try our luck here. the lake was alot longer than i thought it would be, and due to people fishing and private property, we went all the way to the end and decided to fish there where it was peaceful. after an hour or so i guess we got a bit bored and sat by the truck bs'ing and having a bite to eat when my pole took off, getting hung up in the bush i was using to hold it up. from the way it was shaking it was a pretty decent strike and i heard one big splash, and by the time i got to my pole he was gone. serves me right, i guess. it's beautiful here and it's my favorite part of the state, so i know I'll be back in the area. i just don't know if I'll be fishing here again.
