I took two of my kids down to the dock at Waverly park on Washington. My Son is not too into fishing but wanted to go off to his own spot and throw a worm in. I heard his little Zebco push button reel screaming with line coming out of it to see the biggest grin ever on him. He landed his 1st bow. It was a decent fish and went just shy of 15". He loved it and was soon done and off to play on the park toys. My daughter on the other hand loves fishing and was pulling in Perch after Perch. We let the perch go and kept the bow to go with a few more in the fridge for a decent dinner. Would have let him go but he really wanted the worm on his hook and took it deep. Made for a nice supper though. When I was cleaning it I decided to check the stomach and found numerous minnows in him. Great day with the kids and close to the house :)
