I took my boat out on Lake Ballinger tonight for it's maiden voyage. Had a blast of a time... compared to my previous Bayliner Capri, this 14 ft. Lund was a breeze in and out of the water. The Minn Kota 55# is awesome also, very smooth steady troll.

We caught four fish between two guys over a couple hours. From the half hour before dusk until we left at 10:15 pm there were fish rising everywhere. We stayed mostly at the North end by the lilly pads and the golf course. Dry flies were great, worm and a bobber worked too. I also had a nice strike trolling a wedding ring behind pop gear. The fish were stricly planter trout in the 8-10 inch range. But playing with the new toy and the fish finder too was way cool. Only a few other boats, beautiful sunset night, dry flies, worms, spinners, N. end , small planters.
