hit lake at 6 am (yawn). fished the docks at the private resort for an hour from the shore/ docks before getting into the float tube. was using blue/black jignpig, flipping between boats and into empty slips. after 20 minutes landed a nice little scrapper of a bass, my first from a float tube! kept it up for another half hour with nothing else. went to the dock and switched to power bait as i saw my friends were catching some nice rainbows. after maybe 10 minutes, i landed a 16" rainbow. my first on power bait, probably my last due to the fact that i normally release all my catches, but this one swallowed it too bad and was bleeding, so we kept it. i noticed a lot of fish caught with power bait do the same thing. if I'm hungry for fish i might use it again! that was it for me, between 3 people we got 2 bass and 5 trout in 6 hrs. kinda slow, but no skunk for the day!
