Hit silver Lake this morning. Was nice until rain started to come for had to leave early (9:30) for bilge pump sucked up a plastic worm and fuse failed to break so pump quit working and with my old riveted aluminum boat I got a couple of rivets that I can't get to to tighten up. . Caught 13 fish from 6 in the morning until I had to leave. Water temp was 64 degrees which was a 10 degree drop from last week. Lures used were crank baits, tubes, spinner baits and Jigs. Water was really muddy so I found in the short time that I got to fish was to use rattles and vibrating lures. Most of the fish were just small ones with one big fish that hit my crank bait and threw my plug by charging underneath a dock. Wish I could of stayed longer for front moving in had turned on the bite. Dave Newby
